The cheek palette contained colors I don’t already own. These are swatched over an eye shadow primer. How I would organize them if I designed the palette. I decided to not swatch them in palette order, but by value. (There are too many orange/rusty palettes!) I already like the pigmentation and smooth formula from the Lorac Pro eyeshadows I already own, and HELLO PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, so why not? That changed my mind! The neutrals were mostly cool toned, which I can appreciate. Then I saw swatches on Allura Beauty’s You Tube channel. Doesn’t matter that there is only one of each, I think I mentally want to pass on it if I see either of those colors in any palette. I think it’s because I am biased against blue and green eyeshadows which I never wear. I knew I wanted it because it was Pirates, but I didn’t think I would use it much. When I first saw the palette, the colors didn’t attract me and I think it was the layout. And anyone else notice that the back story of Jack’s compass had changed? Uh, that’s not a spoiler. But I can say that the eyeshadow palette is made to look like Jack’s compass, and the cheek palette is made to look like Carina’s diary. I cannot talk about Dead Men Tell No Tales without spoilers, so I am going to avoid writing about it at all.

I did not purchase the lip colors, so I will not be reviewing or swatching them. Pirates of the Caribbean Mod Lip Cream Duo $26 Pirates of the Caribbean Cheek Palette $30

Pirates of the Caribbean PRO Eyeshadow Palette $52 So when the eyeshadow palette went on sale at Ulta, I had to jump at the chance before it sold out! And even more, I think the Lorac Pro eyeshadow formula is top notch. It’s hard to pass up a collection featuring one of my fandoms. I love the ride in Disneyland and of course the movies, the third one is my favorite.
